Yes, folks, I am still here. I've actually been so busy making videos that I've forgotten to let you know about them over here on Sublime Mercies.
And man, oh man, there is no shortage of things to make videos about... by which I mean rant about!
And weep about. When Trump was re-elected, I thought I had an idea of what was to come. But I did not. I don't think any of us were prepared for how bad it would be.
His tyrannically cruel and insane moves comes so fast and furious, we get emotional whiplash trying to keep up. It's terrifying. And exhausting. Videos I made a week ago are already old news.
Remember Epstein? It would seem that few do (which many say was Trump's intent when he attacked Venezuela). But I made another video about Epstein, and about the press's insistence on calling his child victims "women." It got some traction online, which is nice.
So did my video about the former Prince Andrew, and how common it is for child sex traffickers and their customers to get away with abusing children. When I talked to other trafficking victims, they said that this is something they really want the general public to know: Prince Andrew is the norm, not the exception, and justice is rare. But that's old news, right? Nobody cares about that anymore. Or so it would seem. By the time you read this post, Trump's wild grab for Greenland may be old news too, but I made a video about it anyway. It seemed important to remind everyone of the people who really matter in this news story: The Greenlanders themselves. And then there was poor Renee Good, murdered in cold blood by ICE agent, Jonathan Ross, who cared so much about what he'd just done that he called her a "fucking bitch" after shooting her three times in the face. Why? Well, I argue that misogyny and homophobia played a huge role in his actions. Watch my video and tell me if you agree. But I took things a step further and analyzed JD Vance's little tirade about Ross's trauma and how it justified murdering Good.Clearly, this was a step too far. Was it saying that Ross was triggered? Or was it saying that he's a murderer? I really don't know, but YouTube shadow banned the video, something they do to any of us who cover controversial topics. But they do it so randomly and confusingly, it's impossible to figure out how to prevent it.
So I'm really hoping you'll take a moment to check out my channel from time to time to see what's not showing up in your recommendations - even if you subscribe.
That's all for now. I just wanted to let you all know that I really am still here. Beau's doing a lot better now, thank God. That means I'm doing better too. And, it being Vancouver, spring has already sprung, and our garden is telling us all about it. For instance, this is the inside of a snowdrop blossom in our yard. Who knew they're this beautiful on the inside?
Kind of like you, right?
